On Friday, October 24 , our Kindergarten through Eighth grade students will be taking a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch (Willis Farms) in Snowflake. We will be leaving school at 7:30 a.m. and returning to Alpine at approximately 3:00 p.m. th The local Alpine bus will not make its normal run in the morning, and Alpine parents will need to drop off their child(ren) at the school at 7:30 AM. Nutrioso parents can meet the bus at the Nutrioso post office at 7:45 AM and Springerville parents can meet the bus at Pacific Fuels at 8:00 AM.
We will leave Willis Farms and go to the Park for lunch around 12:00pm. We will leave there to return home around 1:15 PM. That should put us in Springerville at Pacific Fuels around 2:15 PM, in Nutrioso around 2:30 PM and in Alpine around 2:45 PM. Springerville/Eagar students will be dropped off in the parking lot at Pacific Fuels in Springerville, Nutrioso students will be dropped off at the post office, and Alpine students will be dropped off at the school. Please be prompt, as we will not be able to wait if you are not there. We will bring any student whose parent is not at the designated stop back to Alpine School where they will need to be picked up. Students will need to bring a sack lunch, a water bottle, jacket if weather is cool and wear good walking shoes. No sandals.
Our trip includes students picking their own pumpkin to bring home (grades K-8 ) and a trip through the Agri-Fact maze (grades K through 4 ) and the Big Maze (grades 5 & 8 )! If students bring their own money, they are allowed to purchase additional pumpkins.
